Polymer Fusions cut edge corrosion system is the only C5 Certified Anti-corrosion system in the UK. Anti-corrosion resistance is measured in a scale of C1-C5 where C5 is the highest protection.

What is Cut Edge Corrosion?

Cut edge corrosion occurs when the edges of old metal roof sheets have been damaged and subjected to rainfall over a long period of time. The only Product with the Official C5  certified product is Rayston PU ZN Primer, manufactured by Krypton Chemicals UK.

This is a single pack (1 component), moisture cure, fast drying polyurethane anti-corrosion primer filled with Zinc and Micaceous Iron oxide (MIO). This provides cathodic (galvanic) and barrier long term protection of any steel / metal surface.
